Job description

This role involves developing and enhancing custom analog power intent methodology and circuit ERC solutions for transistor level analysis in Analog, RF, and mixed-signal designs. The engineer will work closely with CAD engineers and collaborate with layout design, technology, and third-party EDA tool vendors. The position requires strong programming skills and a passion for hardware to influence circuit design across various technology nodes. The contributions will be vital for the success of the analog, mixed-signal, and RF circuit design teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum requirement of a BS degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in SPICE simulation and design environment to handle flow/tool issues in Analog/RF circuit domain.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Programming/scripting skills in Perl, Python, TCL, SKILL language, or Shell.
  • Knowledge of circuit simulations with Analog/RFIC design and/or related CAD/automation support areas.

Responsibilities

  • Solve issues related to transistor level simulations on Analog, RF, and Microwave applications.
  • Guide and assist designers in solving tool issues related to Analog Design Environment.
  • Steer methodology on SPICE simulation and modeling techniques related to circuits.
  • Architect and develop next generation in-house EDA CAD flow solutions related to Analog and Mixed-signal simulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and ensure the success of initiatives.
