The Applications Engineer role on the Vision Pro team focuses on developing the next generation of features for the Photos app, utilizing cutting-edge AR/VR technology. This position involves creating magical experiences for users with their cherished content. You will collaborate closely with framework teams and Human Interface designers to tackle challenging problems in spatial computing. The role emphasizes creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for enhancing user experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development.
  • Experience building complex applications that are functional and visually appealing.
  • Proficiency in an application programming language such as Swift, Objective-C, or C/C++.
  • Familiarity with Apple technologies like SwiftUI, UIKit, ARKit, Metal, and RealityKit.
  • Proficiency in iOS development practices.
  • Experience in 3D Graphics, Real Time Graphics, or 3D Math.
  • Experience building AR/VR apps either professionally or personally.
  • Interest or proficiency in UI/UX design.
  • Interest in photography or videography.
