Job description
This role is part of the wireless RFIC team at Apple, focusing on the architecture, design, and validation of radio transceivers integrated into wireless SoCs. The team aims to innovate and push the boundaries of wireless systems, enhancing product performance and customer experience. You will engage in transceiver design development while collaborating with various product development groups. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a diverse team environment.
Requirements
- BS and 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- Experience in RF test development, debugging, and reporting
- Scripting and debugging knowledge in Python, Perl, TCL, C++, or equivalent
- Solid understanding of RF test equipment such as network analyzers and spectrum analyzers
- Good knowledge of RF, PLL, and general wireless systems measurements
- MS and 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- Strong RF background and familiarity with RF systems fundamentals
- Some experience in RF PCB board design, debugging, and development
- Exposure to RFIC design and simulation/verification
- Exposure to SOC design and simulation/verification
Responsibilities
- Architect and design radio transceivers for wireless SoCs
- Validate and test RF SOC IP through debugging and measurements
- Collaborate with systems and product teams to enhance product performance
- Develop innovative solutions in transceiver design
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to push industry boundaries
