Job description
The Configuration Engineer Technical Program Manager at Google will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects focused on designing and delivering efficient system configurations for Google's data center fleet. The successful candidate will apply their technical expertise to influence product design and drive internal business process transformations. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems, bill of materials, sheets, and ad hoc analysis.
- 2 years of experience with configuration management.
- Experience with interdependencies from a power, networking, and physical interface perspective.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand defined work problems and program goals.
- Prioritize program goals by translating stakeholder needs into actionable deliverables.
- Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans for supported programs.
- Review key metrics pertaining to a program and monitor potential metric deviations.
- Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to drive impact and work toward mutual goals.
