Job description

The wireless RFIC team is responsible for architecting, designing, and validating radio transceivers integrated into complex wireless SoCs. This role involves innovative development in transceiver design while collaborating closely with systems and product teams at Apple. The position focuses on delivering end-to-end RF integration solutions for advanced Wireless SoC products, ensuring compliance with rigorous standards throughout the product lifecycle. Candidates will deepen their technical expertise across hardware and software domains, including wireless transceiver architecture and RF systems.

Requirements

  • BS degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proven experience in RF test development, hands-on debug, and performance characterization.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Perl, TCL, C++, or similar languages.
  • Hands-on experience with standard RF test equipment, including network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
  • Solid understanding of RF fundamentals and wireless transceiver architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of RF, PLL, and wireless system measurements.
  • Experience with RF PCB board design and debugging.
  • Familiarity with RFIC block-level schematics and design/simulation environments.
  • MS degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong RF background and familiarity with RF systems fundamentals.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end RF integration solutions for advanced Wireless SoC products.
  • Enable the entire product lifecycle from pre-silicon emulation to mass production.
  • Conduct final silicon validation and ensure compliance with rigorous standards.
  • Perform hands-on bench testing, debugging, and system characterization.
  • Ensure RF IPs meet and exceed performance targets.
