The wireless RFIC team at Apple focuses on architecting, designing, and validating radio transceivers integrated into complex wireless SoCs. This role involves innovative development in transceiver design while collaborating with systems and product teams. The position offers the opportunity to deepen technical expertise across hardware and software domains, including wireless transceiver architecture and RF systems. A key aspect of the role includes conducting final silicon validation and ensuring compliance with rigorous standards.
Requirements
- BS degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Proven experience in RF test development and hands-on debug.
- Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Perl, TCL, C++, or similar languages.
- Hands-on experience with standard RF test equipment, including network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
- Solid understanding of RF fundamentals and wireless transceiver architectures.
- Strong knowledge of RF, PLL, and wireless system measurements.
- Experience with RF PCB board design and debugging.
- Familiarity with RFIC block-level schematics and design/simulation environments.
- MS degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong RF background and familiarity with RF systems fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end RF integration solutions for advanced Wireless SoC products.
- Enable the entire product lifecycle from pre-silicon emulation to mass production.
- Conduct the critical first bring-up of Wireless SoC-RF.
- Perform final silicon validation and ensure compliance with standards.
- Engage in hands-on bench testing, debugging, and system characterization.
