We are looking for a seasoned Physical Design technical leader with expertise in high-performance and low-power design. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop efficient chip and IP physical architectures while considering design constraints early in the process. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of physical design implementation from RTL to GDS. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record in managing complex design challenges.

• Minimum BS degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Knowledgeable in partition level P&R implementation including floorplanning, clock and power distribution.
• Experience with large SOC designs exceeding 20 million gates and frequencies over 1GHz.
• Strong understanding of PD construction and analysis flows and methodologies.
• Recent successful tapeouts in deep submicron technology.

• Oversee all aspects of physical design implementation from RTL to GDS including PnR, bump/RDL, STA, and physical verification.
• Collaborate to drive methodologies and best-known methods to streamline physical design work.
• Develop guidelines and checklists for physical design processes.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for the focus area.
• Address challenging timing closure issues and optimize area and power.
