JobsCAD Engineer - Custom EMIR Methodology
Job description
As a key member of Apple's CAD Group, you will contribute to the development of advanced designs by leveraging your expertise in power and signal EM analysis and IR analysis. This role emphasizes collaboration with various design groups to meet circuit verification requirements and enhance methodologies. You will work closely with design, CAD, and EDA teams to identify and address flow deficiencies. Your hands-on experience will be crucial in delivering state-of-the-art solutions that improve accuracy and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 3 years of industry experience
- Experience with custom design environments and transistor level EM/IR analysis
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Perl, or C/C++
- Hands-on experience developing transistor level EM/IR analysis and automations
- Knowledge of EM/IR analysis tools and their working principles
- Familiarity with custom design environments and flows including schematic/layout design, simulation, extraction, and physical verification
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to root-cause technical challenges
- Ability to coordinate and drive initiatives with senior team members
Responsibilities
- Support transistor level power/signal EM and/or IR solutions that scale with accuracy and capacity challenges
- Enhance the custom transistor level EM/IR methodology
- Collaborate with various design groups to address circuit verification requirements across different processes
- Partner with design, CAD, and EDA teams to identify flow deficiencies and deliver state-of-the-art solutions
