JobsCAD Engineer - Custom EMIR Methodology
Job description
This role is part of Apple's CAD Group, focusing on building state-of-the-art designs. The position requires hands-on experience in power/signal EM analysis and/or IR analysis to enhance methodologies and flows. You will collaborate with various design groups to address circuit verification requirements and partner with design, CAD, and EDA teams to identify and resolve flow deficiencies. The role emphasizes innovation and a commitment to improving design accuracy and performance.
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with custom design environments and transistor level EM/IR analysis.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Perl, or C/C++.
- Knowledge of EM/IR analysis tools, including their working principles and methods.
- Familiarity with schematic/layout design, simulation, extraction, and physical verification.
Responsibilities
- Support transistor level power/signal EM and/or IR solutions that scale with accuracy and capacity challenges.
- Enhance the custom transistor level EM/IR methodology.
- Collaborate with design groups to address their circuit verification requirements across different processes.
- Partner with design, CAD, and EDA teams to identify flow deficiencies and deliver state-of-the-art solutions.
