Job description
This role is part of Apple's CAD Group, focusing on building state-of-the-art designs through custom simulation and power EM/IR analysis. The position requires hands-on experience in transistor level simulation solutions and collaboration with various design groups to meet circuit verification requirements. The ideal candidate will enhance simulation flows and address flow deficiencies while driving initiatives with minimal supervision. A strong analytical mindset is essential for identifying and solving technical challenges.
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of a BS degree and 10 years of relevant industry experience
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Perl, or C/C++
- Hands-on experience developing transistor level simulation flows and automations
- Knowledge in EM/IR analysis tools and their working principles
- Familiarity with custom design environments and flows

- Enhance custom transistor level simulation flows and EM/IR flows
- Collaborate with design groups to address circuit verification requirements across different processes
- Partner with design, CAD, and EDA teams to identify flow deficiencies and deliver solutions
