This role is part of Apple's CAD Group, focusing on building state-of-the-art designs. The position requires hands-on experience in power/signal EM analysis and/or IR analysis. The team is dedicated to innovation and improving methodologies for circuit verification. You will collaborate with various design groups to enhance custom transistor level EM/IR methodologies.

• Minimum requirement of BS degree and 10 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience with custom design environment and transistor level EM/IR analysis
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Perl, or C/C++
• Hands-on experience developing transistor level EM/IR analysis and automations for improved accuracy and higher performance
• Knowledge in EM/IR analysis tools, including their working principles and methods
• Familiarity with custom design environment and flows, including schematic/layout design, simulation, extraction, and physical verification
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to root-cause technical challenges and communicate solutions for methodology advancement
• Ability to coordinate and drive initiatives with minimum supervision

• Support transistor level power/signal EM and/or IR solutions that scale with accuracy and capacity challenges
• Support and enhance the custom transistor level EM/IR methodology
• Collaborate with various design groups to address their circuit verification requirements across different processes
• Partner with design, CAD, and EDA teams to identify flow deficiencies and deliver state-of-the-art solutions
