Job description
In this role at Apple, you will be a key member of the CAD Group, focusing on building state-of-the-art designs. Your expertise in power/signal EM analysis and IR analysis will be crucial in defining and refining methodologies and flows. You will collaborate with various design groups to address circuit verification requirements and partner with design, CAD, and EDA teams to enhance solutions. Requirements
- Minimum requirement of a BS degree and 10 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience with custom design environments and transistor level EM/IR analysis
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Perl, or C/C++
- Hands-on experience developing transistor level EM/IR analysis and automations for improved accuracy and performance
- Knowledge of EM/IR analysis tools, including their working principles and methods
- Familiarity with custom design environments and flows, including schematic/layout design, simulation, extraction, and physical verification
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to root-cause technical challenges and communicate solutions
Responsibilities
- Support transistor level power/signal EM and/or IR solutions that scale with accuracy and capacity challenges
- Enhance the custom transistor level EM/IR methodology
- Collaborate with various design groups to address their circuit verification requirements across different processes
- Partner with design, CAD, and EDA teams to identify flow deficiencies and deliver state-of-the-art solutions
