Job description
In this role at Apple, you will be a key member of the CAD Group, focusing on building state-of-the-art designs. Your expertise in power/signal EM and IR analysis will be crucial in developing methodologies and flows. You will collaborate with various design groups to address circuit verification requirements and enhance custom transistor level EM/IR methodologies. Requirements
- Minimum requirement of a BS degree and 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with custom design environments and transistor level EM/IR analysis.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Perl, or C/C++.
- Hands-on experience developing transistor level EM/IR analysis and automations.
- Knowledge of EM/IR analysis tools and their working principles.
- Familiarity with custom design environments and flows, including schematic/layout design, simulation, extraction, and physical verification.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to root-cause technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Support transistor level power/signal EM and/or IR solutions that scale with accuracy and capacity challenges.
- Enhance the custom transistor level EM/IR methodology.
- Collaborate with design groups to address circuit verification requirements across different processes.
- Partner with design, CAD, and EDA teams to identify flow deficiencies and deliver state-of-the-art solutions.
- Coordinate and drive initiatives together with senior team members.
