Job description
This role is part of Apple's CAD Group, focusing on building state-of-the-art designs. The position requires hands-on experience in custom simulation and power EM/IR analysis. The team is dedicated to innovation and improving methodologies for transistor level simulation. You will collaborate with various design groups to enhance simulation flows and address circuit verification requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of a BS degree and 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Perl, or C/C++.
- Hands-on experience developing transistor level simulation flows and automations.
- Knowledge in EM/IR analysis tools and their working principles.
- Familiarity with custom design environments and flows.
Responsibilities
- Support transistor level simulation solutions that scale with accuracy and capacity challenges.
- Enhance custom transistor level simulation flows and EM/IR flows.
- Collaborate with design groups to address circuit verification requirements across different processes.
- Partner with design, CAD, and EDA teams to identify flow deficiencies and deliver solutions.
