JobsCAD Engineer - Custom EMIR Methodology
Job description
As a key member of Apple's CAD Group, you will contribute to the development of advanced designs by leveraging your expertise in power and signal EM analysis and IR analysis. This role focuses on enhancing methodologies and flows while collaborating with various design teams to meet circuit verification requirements. You will work closely with design, CAD, and EDA teams to identify and resolve flow deficiencies. Your contributions will help drive innovation and improve the accuracy and performance of transistor level EM/IR analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 3 years of industry experience
- Experience with custom design environments and transistor level EM/IR analysis
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Perl, or C/C++
- Hands-on experience developing transistor level EM/IR analysis and automations
- Knowledge of EM/IR analysis tools and their working principles
- Familiarity with custom design flows including schematic/layout design, simulation, extraction, and physical verification
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to address technical challenges
Responsibilities
- Support transistor level power/signal EM and/or IR solutions that scale with accuracy and capacity challenges
- Enhance the custom transistor level EM/IR methodology
- Collaborate with various design groups to address circuit verification requirements across different processes
- Partner with design, CAD, and EDA teams to identify flow deficiencies and deliver state-of-the-art solutions
- Coordinate and drive initiatives together with senior team members
