Job description
As a member of Apple's CAD Group, you will play a crucial role in developing state-of-the-art designs. Your expertise in power and signal EM analysis and IR analysis will be essential in defining and refining methodologies. You will collaborate with various design groups to meet their circuit verification needs and partner with design, CAD, and EDA teams to enhance solutions. This position requires a strong commitment to innovation and technical excellence.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant industry experience is required.
- Experience with custom design environments and transistor level EM/IR analysis is necessary.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Perl, or C/C++ is required.
- Hands-on experience in developing transistor level EM/IR analysis and automations for improved accuracy and performance is essential.
- Knowledge of EM/IR analysis tools, including their working principles and methods, is required.
- Familiarity with custom design environments and flows, including schematic/layout design, simulation, extraction, and physical verification, is necessary.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to root-cause technical challenges and communicate solutions for methodology advancement are required.
- The ability to coordinate and drive initiatives with senior team members is essential.
Responsibilities
- Support transistor level power/signal EM and/or IR solutions that scale with accuracy and capacity challenges.
- Enhance the custom transistor level EM/IR methodology.
- Collaborate with various design groups to address their circuit verification requirements across different processes.
- Partner with design, CAD, and EDA teams to identify flow deficiencies and deliver state-of-the-art solutions.
