The Lead Technical Program Manager for Network Delivery Engineering at Google is responsible for leading a team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs) to deliver next-generation networking solutions. This role focuses on improving speed to General Availability (GA) and post-GA cycle times while managing complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects. The team acts as a bridge between network product development and deployment across Google's infrastructure. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills to influence stakeholders and drive organizational change.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in managing technical projects.
- 8 years of experience in infrastructure.
- 5 years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports.
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to achieve speed-to-market improvement for networking products while executing a roadmap that directly impacts company-level Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
- Leverage domain expertise to influence technical roadmaps and white papers alongside engineering leaders.
- Manage and coach a high-performing team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs).
- Partner with executive leadership to align on goals and drive organizational change.
- Communicate program strategy and sensitive issues to executive audiences with clarity and confidence.
