  • VLSI background with hands-on experience in RTL to GDSII flows.
  • Prior experience in Power, Performance, Area, and Cost optimizations for SoCs.
  • Experience with SoC power flows and Vmin optimization.
  • Experience with Design Technology Co-optimization and identifying scaling bottlenecks.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify high return on investment opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize design and implementation methodology for integrated circuits.
  • Establish design guidelines, methodologies, and standards for synthesis and timing closure.
  • Identify utilization bottlenecks in physical design and develop solutions.
  • Perform design technology co-optimization analysis and conduct Spice simulations.
  • Develop and implement voltage scaling and power optimization methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with technology and IP teams to enhance efficiency.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to continuously improve design methodologies.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
