This role is part of Apple's Silicon Technologies group, focusing on designing and manufacturing high-performance, power-efficient processors and system-on-chip (SoC). The position involves improving physical synthesis techniques and supporting the implementation flow from RTL through GDS signoff. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions and tackle physical synthesis challenges. Your contributions will help ensure that Apple products can efficiently handle tasks that delight millions of users.

• Minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with TCL, Python, or Perl scripting languages.
• Experience with industry standard Synthesis tools such as Fusion Compiler or Genus.
• Experience in CAD flow or FE methodology development.
• Experience with Low Power implementation flows (UPF) is a plus.
• Experience with logical equivalence tools such as Conformal LEC and/or Formality is a plus.
• Experience in linting, static timing analysis, low power checks (UPF), or place and route tools is a plus.

• Develop and improve existing flows for Physical Synthesis, LEC, and DFT Implementation.
• Support multiple design teams and work with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions in different flows.
• Work with cross-functional teams to solve key physical synthesis challenges.
• Develop innovative solutions in the physical synthesis space.
• Develop and maintain custom CAD tools for synthesis and DFT implementation.
• Work with tool vendors to resolve tool and flow issues.
