Job description
This role is part of the GPU FE Implementation team at Apple, focusing on optimizing and delivering world-class GPUs into Apple Silicon. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with RTL and physical design teams to ensure the synthesis, analysis, and optimization of delivered IP. The position requires driving block level synthesis and optimizations while meeting challenging timing, power, and area targets. Requirements
- BS degree with 10 years of relevant experience
- Experience driving block level synthesis and optimizations
- Experience with RTL design improvement for optimal area, timing, and power
- Experience debugging complex logic equivalence issues and performing netlist checks
- Experience implementing ECOs for functionality and timing
- Familiarity with DFT insertion and simulation debugging tools
- Scripting experience in ASIC flows using Python, Tcl, or Perl
