The Product Design Engineer for the Google Pixel Watch team will focus on designing and delivering innovative wearable experiences. This role involves driving the design, analysis, and prototyping of new concepts in a manufacturing-oriented environment. The engineer will collaborate with various cross-functional teams to ensure the product design balances comfort, performance, and aesthetics. The position aims to integrate advanced technology into the next generation of Pixel Watch.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, product design, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience designing mechanical components such as plastic or metal parts, mechanical assemblies, printed circuit boards, or flexes.
• 3 years of experience using computer-aided design (CAD) tools such as 3D MCAD, NX, Creo, or Solidworks.

• Apply design, engineering, and technical knowledge to influence cross-functionally and deliver reliable mass production components.
• Anticipate and address product design issues or risks, analyze data, and validate product design to suggest or implement design improvements.
• Manage the product design process, provide guidance to team members, communicate progress, and request feedback to prevent or remove roadblocks.
