The Manufacturing Operations Lead for Android XR Hardware Scaling Engineering at Google will be part of a team that develops custom silicon solutions for consumer products. This role focuses on enabling Android ecosystem partners to launch immersive products efficiently. The lead will ensure that all components and designs are validated for manufacturing readiness. This position requires collaboration with partners to deliver high-quality hardware projects.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 12 years of experience in manufacturing or operations management.
• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or a related engineering field is preferred.
• 15 years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality, or Product Engineering for hardware technology and systems.
• Experience in debug, troubleshooting, and failure analysis investigation.

• Drive process design, optimization, and qualification activities of a manufacturing process for a component, module, or product.
• Define and execute data collection activities for technical issues.
• Develop supplier plans of record and factory test plans.
• Engage with manufacturing partners and OEMs to develop, ramp, and introduce products.
• Define and own the manufacturing and operational strategy for the Android XR ecosystem.
