Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Certification in Six Sigma Black Belt.
- 8 years of experience in manufacturing in a heavy industrial environment, within the data center space or automotive production.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience with Data Center cooling.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive design for excellence feasibility reviews and generate design for manufacturing feasibility reports during the concept readiness phase.
- Validate mass production readiness through run-at-rate validation reports and line balancing charts.
- Execute vendor capability assessments and factory readiness gap analyses to ensure supply chain maturity.
- Enforce strict process quality by reviewing process capability reports and control plans during the pilot phase.
- Advocate risk management by leading process failure mode and effects analysis and conducting root cause analysis for manufacturing issues.
- Define and validate test strategy and fixture design, overseeing the cut-in of engineering changes as needed.
