The Senior Software Engineering Manager for Infrastructure, Core at Google is responsible for leading a team of engineers and managing large-scale projects that underpin Google's flagship products. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
- 7 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks.
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- 5 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
Responsibilities
- Set and communicate team priorities that support the broader organization's goals.
- Align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams.
- Develop the long-term technical vision and roadmap within and beyond the scope of your teams.
- Oversee systems designs within the scope of the broader area.
- Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
