Job description
The Imaging Systems Simulation Engineer role at Google focuses on developing simulation tools for consumer hardware products within the Devices and Services team. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field.
- 2 years of experience working in an imaging systems simulation environment.
- Experience with software development in Python and Matlab.
Responsibilities
- Develop imaging system simulation tools for Google's consumer hardware products.
- Define simulation workflows, capabilities, and performance goals, and validate against real hardware.
- Investigate imaging performance goals for multi-camera systems.
- Perform experimental evaluations of imaging system performance to validate functionality.
- Collaborate with partners in System Product Design, Electrical Engineering, Camera Hardware, and XR software teams.
