The Head of Customer Engineering III for Payment at Google Cloud will lead a team of Customer Engineering Managers and subject matter experts to provide technical and solution advice to customers. This role focuses on fostering a culture of technical ownership and driving successful cloud transformation outcomes. The position requires strong leadership in managing teams and engaging with technical stakeholders to accelerate workload migration. The successful candidate will also define technical go-to-market strategies and delivery plans to enhance customer partnerships.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• 3 years of experience as a manager leading teams in a technical customer-facing role within professional services or Sales Engineering.
• Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
• Experience with technical conversations, demos, prototyping, or workshops with customers.

• Lead a team of CE Managers and extended teams, focusing on team culture, talent strategy, and skills development.
• Build customer partnership and deliver thought leadership across cloud, cross-pillar solutions, and expansion opportunities.
• Partner with business leadership to define technical go-to-market strategies and delivery plans.
• Balance technical leadership with operational excellence by leading workload and opportunity review meetings.
• Work cross-functionally across Google, partners, and teams to resolve technical roadblocks.
