Job description
The Hardware Engineer role at Google focuses on designing and validating hardware systems and subsystems. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in hardware design and validation.
- Experience in printed circuit board (PCB) design for signal integrity.
- Specialized knowledge in high-speed routing and systems architecture design.
Responsibilities
- Analyze hardware and electrical systems to identify flaws and debug key issues.
- Optimize complex components, circuits, and systems to meet performance, power, and cost requirements.
- Review electrical designs, including schematics, layouts, and BOMs, to anticipate and address potential risks.
- Perform electrical simulations and measurements to validate that designs meet established specifications.
- Provide clear documentation of designs, implementation details, and test results throughout the product lifecycle.
