The Camera Hardware Engineering group at Apple is focused on the design and innovation of camera systems across various products, including iPhone, Mac, and iPad. The team is seeking a high-energy engineer to collaborate with experts in optics, controls, mechanics, and imaging. This role involves developing custom silicon integrated circuits that enhance computational photography. • BS Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in analog/mixed-signal IC development.
• Experience with board-level design constraints, power assessment, or analysis.
• Experience with creating design of experiments and troubleshooting or performing root-cause analysis.
• MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with relevant industry experience.
• Experience in low-power, low-noise sensing and/or signal processing.
• Experience with embedded systems and/or MCU-based custom silicon designs.
• Experience with software/hardware co-design methodologies.
• Experience optimizing designs across multiple disciplines including hardware/firmware partitioning, trade-off assessments, and design verification.
• Experience with C development from architecture through high-volume production ramp.
• Experience working cross-functionally to drive engineering projects to completion.
