The Data Center Controls Engineer will be part of the Advanced Technology Innovation team at Google, focusing on optimizing the physical design and operations of data centers. This role involves working with cutting-edge technology to improve efficiencies and ensure compliance with industry standards. The engineer will collaborate with a team of experts to troubleshoot and manage Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS). The position requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to drive infrastructure improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience working on critical infrastructure projects related to process improvements.
• Experience implementing controls engineering.
• Experience with mission critical systems and operations.

• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for BMS and EPMS to maintain data center operations.
• Lead the full lifecycle of controls projects, including developing scopes of work, budgets, schedules, and managing execution.
• Develop and modify controls logic programming and graphical user interfaces.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and assistance to internal customers.
• Conduct regular site visits to supervise vendor performance and ensure compliance with design specifications.
