Job description
As a Sub Same Day Operations Engineer at Amazon, you will lead and manage cross-functional projects focused on enhancing the supply chain and same-day delivery capabilities. This role requires a customer-obsessed leader who will be integral in planning and executing facility infrastructure for various initiatives. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with experts across business, tech, and design to tackle complex challenges. Your efforts will directly contribute to optimizing network capacity and improving customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- Ability to travel up to 80%
- Experience working with and managing third party vendors
- Experience with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, supervise and control the execution of all business, technical, fiscal and administrative functions of the assigned project.
- Partner with customers and internal/external teams to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
- Monitor and report on the progress of all project activity including significant milestones and conditions which would affect project cost or schedule.
- Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks.
- Manage project budget and approve all purchase orders.
