Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
- 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
- Experience as a mentor or tech lead for an engineering team
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain software components and applications for Audible's platform
- Identify and resolve software defects through various troubleshooting methods
- Write maintainable and scalable code as part of an agile engineering team
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and launch customer-centric software
- Apply computer science and engineering principles to solve moderate-scale problems
- Enhance testability and operational excellence for owned software components
- Handle data classification and management in accordance with company policies
- Participate in the interview process and mentor fellow engineers
