  • Define and update requirements for structured cabling systems for network layers at hyperscale data centers.
  • Develop standards and installation guidelines for physical network/cabling deployments and structured cabling systems.
  • Assist with troubleshooting problem areas in existing or new network architecture and propose projects with significant business impact.
  • Partner with fiber vendors and contractors to perform quality control and commissioning of fiber bundles and structured cabling systems.

  • Monitor network/system/link quality and build mechanisms to remediate large scale events.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fiber connectivity and plant design.
  • Maintain documentation, drawings, and asset records for physical fiber network components across global sites.

Benefits

  • Employees at Amazon are often offered comprehensive health benefits—including multiple medical plan options (no pre-existing condition exclusions, 100% covered in-network preventive care), dental and vision plans, a 24/7 medical advice line from day one, expert second-opinion services, and broad mental-health support with several free counseling sessions (including pediatric). Financial wellness typically includes a 401(k) with company match (up to 2%), Restricted Stock Units (equity), FSAs, an emergency savings program, product and partner discounts, and even college-savings and home-purchase programs.
