Job description

Amazon Industrial Robotics is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced robotics systems. This role involves working with interdisciplinary teams to design, implement, and release complex electrical systems for automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hardware engineering and will lead a team of engineers while ensuring effective coordination across various engineering disciplines. Requirements

  • BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • 10+ years of hardware engineering experience
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
  • Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent is preferred
  • Experience applying IEC 60204 and/or IEC 61508 machinery safety standards is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work with an interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept to production.
  • Lead and support a technical team on multiple projects in parallel.
  • Coordinate all activities within the engineering discipline for the project.
  • Write and develop functional specifications, design verification plans, and test procedures.
  • Architect, design, and implement complex embedded systems and systems debugging.
