Job description

The AMZL Process Engineering Team is seeking an innovative engineering leader to develop next-generation delivery stations. This role involves managing product and process development for high-value programs while collaborating with various internal and external teams. The successful candidate will influence senior leaders across multiple organizations and drive the development roadmap for AMZL delivery systems. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of maintenance or engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field
  • Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, or BIM 360
  • Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma, and other operations engineering tools
  • 7+ years of maintenance or engineering experience
  • Experience with complex automated material handling equipment and packaging technologies

Responsibilities

  • Lead idea generation for innovative design and process solutions to operational problems
  • Initiate, define, plan, and manage the rollout of product features and enhancements for AMZL Delivery Stations
  • Collaborate closely with partner teams in Engineering, Tech, and Operations to build impactful products
  • Own and deliver against plans, providing network reporting and financial approval for all stages of program progression
  • Act as a technical expert in the area of ownership, providing expertise to other Engineering teams
  • Own internal process innovations across the Engineering organization and ensure the roadmap is delivered
  • Present concepts, designs, and program updates to senior leadership regularly
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by following through with requests and meeting needs promptly
  • Coordinate with Tech and Software teams to drive operational execution of software enhancements
  • Travel 25% based on business needs
