Job description

This role involves designing the next generation of fulfillment centers and logistics systems globally. The team seeks innovative engineers who will manage multiple projects from concept to design approval. Engineers will collaborate with internal and external teams and serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers. The position offers opportunities to work on high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in management of engineering design projects
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in Design/Innovation, research & development, manufacturing, process, industrial engineering, or related work
  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, and statistical analysis
  • Experience with complex automated material handling equipment and packaging technologies
  • Experience with design-in-safety
  • Experience with process design based on Lean Principles

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to design high-quality, cost-effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems.
  • Own multiple projects simultaneously from concept realization through design approval.
  • Act as the primary point of technical contact for suppliers on projects.
  • Support the Ops Engineering team during the installation and commissioning of designed systems.
  • Work on a variety of projects including green-fields, brown-fields, and retrofits.
