Job description

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable distributed systems for AWS Elastic Load Balancing services. Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Experience designing, building, operating, and managing large-scale distributed systems or web services
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for full software development life cycle
  • Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and management
  • 4+ years of distributed systems experience
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
  • Experience in mentoring, leading, or managing more junior engineers

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable distributed systems that power AWS Elastic Load Balancing services.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code in Java, C++, or similar languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement solutions.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of medium to large-sized projects.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy for the team.
