Job description

The role involves working as a software engineer within the EC2 Nitro organization, specifically on the MLS team that develops next-generation EC2 Supercomputers. The focus is on creating machine learning platforms optimized for high-performance workloads. Candidates will collaborate with various technical teams to enhance hardware, firmware, and software solutions. Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, and parallel computing

Responsibilities

  • Drive development for new EC2 machine learning platforms
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop hardware, firmware, systems, and application software
  • Implement coding standards, code reviews, and source control management
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle, including testing and operations
