Job description

As a Machine Learning Compiler Engineer II on the AWS Neuron team, you will support the development and scaling of a compiler for large ML workloads. The team focuses on optimizing the performance of complex neural net models on custom-built AWS hardware. You will work alongside experienced engineers to architect and implement critical features while contributing to cutting-edge research. A background in Machine Learning and AI accelerators is preferred but not required.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and testing
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Support the ground-up development of a compiler for ML workloads
  • Architect and implement business-critical features
  • Publish cutting-edge research in the field of machine learning
  • Collaborate with AWS ML services teams as a hands-on partner
  • Involve in pre-silicon design and bring new products/features to market
