Job description

The M365 Engineer role at Amazon Leo focuses on designing, implementing, and operating M365 productivity services in a GCC High Environment. The team is dedicated to ensuring reliable and secure collaboration services for users while collaborating with Amazon security teams and key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and project management experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of systems engineering experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on M365 services configurations and deployment experience
  • Experience with building automations using PowerShell
  • Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
  • Experience implementing technical controls derived from NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171
  • Experience configuring services using Desired State Configuration (DSC)
  • Administrative experience in networking, storage systems, and operating systems

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement productivity applications in Leo environments using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Identify, research, recommend, and implement Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive, and Voice.
  • Serve as the administrator for M365 services.
  • Enforce compliance with principles including least privilege access, password management, and audit logging for all productivity applications.
  • Drive 3rd party secure collaboration efforts to accelerate Leo goals.
  • Partner with Amazon security organizations to ensure compliance with existing security policies.
  • Engage with and influence key stakeholders and internal teams to ensure compliance, security, and operational functional requirements are met or exceeded.
  • Create and implement automated processes that reduce manual efforts and increase overall efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop monitoring and reporting on the health, effectiveness, and efficiency of productivity services.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for the Microsoft 365 environment for both engineering audiences and end users.
