Job description

The Web Players team is seeking a software engineer to enhance the Prime Video player experience across web browsers and embedded views. This role involves building accessible player features and optimizing video playback for millions of customers. Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve the Web Player experience in collaboration with Product management
  • Build SDKs to support player features such as accessibility
  • Integrate and analyze video playback analytics solutions to optimize performance
  • Work closely with other teams to resolve issues and facilitate playback integration
  • Create reliable, scalable, and high-performance products
