Job description

The Software Engineer II role at Microsoft Security focuses on building secure and scalable solutions to protect diverse environments and users. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Candidates must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with multiple teams to coordinate work and track progress toward shared goals.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support service reliability.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop technical solutions and automation.
  • Support live services operating in Azure’s air-gapped regions.
  • Contribute to the buildout of new services as they are brought into scope.
