The Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) team is seeking a passionate ML Engineer to develop customization capabilities for large language models (LLMs). This role involves leading the development of novel training techniques and optimizations while collaborating with Applied Scientists. • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience in developing and deploying LLMs in production on GPUs, Neuron, TPU or other AI acceleration hardware
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• Knowledge of machine learning model architecture and inference
• 3+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Knowledge of ML frameworks including JAX, PyTorch, vLLM, SGLang, Dynamo, TorchXLA, and TensorRT
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

• Investigate design approaches and prototype new technology with other team engineers
• Evaluate technical feasibility of proposed solutions
• Collaborate closely with Applied Scientists to process data and scale machine learning models
• Optimize machine learning models for performance and reliability
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software
