The Sr. SoC EMIR Engineer will be part of the Machine Learning Acceleration team, focusing on the EMIR sign-off of SoCs used in AI workloads. This role involves collaboration with architects, designers, and verification engineers to ensure high-quality power grid design and analysis. The team operates in a fast-paced environment that encourages innovation and teamwork across various technology areas. The engineer will also be responsible for advancing EMIR analysis methodologies and maintaining dashboards for EMIR status.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in RTL coding and debug.
- Experience with EMIR analysis tools like Redhawk-SC or Voltus.
- Deep, circuit-level understanding of power, EM, and IR.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, Perl, or Ruby.
- Good understanding of Physical Design, EM/IR, Power Integrity, and Thermal at various levels.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze power grids.
- Setup flows for EMIR analysis.
- Run EMIR analysis for large subsystems and SoCs.
- Partner with EDA tool vendors to develop and evaluate new methodologies for EMIR analysis.
- Develop and maintain dashboards for EMIR rollups.
