The role involves leading engineering projects to develop and deliver next-generation equipment for Amazon's delivery stations. The WW Equipment Engineering Innovation team seeks an innovative engineer to drive quality control and supplier management while collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders. This position offers a high level of ownership in solving complex logistical challenges and requires a strong inclination towards delivering scalable results. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, managing large initiatives and advocating for customer satisfaction.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in Design/Innovation, research & development, manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering
• Experience with end-to-end ownership of major project deliverables
• Knowledge of Quality systems and Manufacturing operations across industries such as CPG, CE, Automotive, and Aerospace
• Experience with NPI methodologies and working with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors
• Experience in preparing quality metrics and engaging with stakeholders to set quality goals
• Comfort working on 0-1 products with developing supply chains and new vendors
• Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, TQM, and Six Sigma
• Experience in manufacturing fabrication processes including metal forming, plastic molding, and general assembly

• Act as the primary technical interface regarding Quality & Manufacturing between suppliers and internal teams.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with deployed equipment solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop the initial quality management system for AMZL equipment to monitor performance and quality metrics.
• Create documentation for equipment solutions, including quality specifications and assembly instructions.
• Build large-scale business proposals based on innovative designs for WW Ops Engineering.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
• Manage large, complex initiatives and advocate on behalf of the customer.
• Support mechanical validation efforts by reviewing supplier test plans and results.
