Job description

The FOC Engineer role is crucial for supporting onsite operations teams by providing remote monitoring of Data Center infrastructure. You will work within the Facility Operations Center, which is responsible for monitoring critical facility infrastructure globally. This position requires problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with a diverse team to ensure the highest standards of safety and security in AWS Data Centers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical support experience, or a Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience documenting technical customer issues.
  • 1+ years of customer-facing IT role or physical security systems/infrastructure work experience.
  • Experience in data center engineering.
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote monitoring of Data Center power and cooling infrastructure.
  • Support onsite operations teams with critical facility infrastructure.
  • Initiate immediate event response for Data Center critical teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high safety and security standards.
