The Senior Software Development Engineer will work within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Automated Reasoning Group, focusing on enhancing AWS services through innovative applications of Automated Reasoning. This role involves designing and building new services that improve the accuracy of Generative AI outputs. The team values creativity, collaboration, and mentorship, providing an environment for professional growth. Engineers will engage with both internal and external customers to deliver high-quality solutions at scale.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
- 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
- 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Interest or experience in Automated Reasoning or formal methods
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary team members to design and launch innovative products and services.
- Design and build technologies in a large distributed computing environment.
- Create solutions for running predictions on distributed systems at scale.
- Build scalable, fault-tolerant, and easy-to-manage distributed storage and query systems.
- Design and code solutions for broadly defined problems.
- Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
