The role involves defining wireless architecture and optimizing system performance for devices like the Kindle and Fire tablets. • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in Wireless Architecture or Systems.
• 7+ years of experience in Wireless/RF.
• Experience in communication theory, OFDM, MIMO, Digital/Wireless Communication Systems or RF engineering.
• Strong knowledge in PHY/MAC.
• Experience with scripting languages and simulation tools such as Python/MatLab.
• Master's degree or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred.
• Experience in wireless architecture for consumer electronics.
• Experience with wireless protocols such as Wi-Fi, BT, BLE, ZigBee.

• Define wireless architecture for consumer electronics devices.
• Define key performance metrics and drive modeling efforts to predict end-to-end system performance.
• Perform gap analysis and system performance optimization across radio, PHY, MAC, firmware, and software.
