Amazon Web Services is seeking Software Development Engineers to develop and maintain networking solutions for AWS. The role involves working with a diverse team of engineers to create embedded platforms that support one of the world's largest cloud networks. Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- Experience in Linux and Networking protocols
- Experience with Rust, Go, C and/or C++ languages
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with Networking, Linux Kernel and/or Forwarding Stack
Responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded software for networking switches and routers.
- Collaborate with network engineering, software, and hardware team members.
- Understand Amazon's network architecture, operation, and security.
- Innovate ways to build, automate, and scale the network.
- Ensure high performance, reliability, control, and visibility for Amazon's global network.
