Amazon Web Services is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a global engineering team focused on the design, planning, and operation of AWS infrastructure. The role involves working on data center substation electrical designs and collaborating with various disciplines to ensure high-quality construction documents. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission critical facilities
- Professional Engineer License
- Experience with building codes and regulations for your region
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Responsibilities
- Participate in site selection reviews
- Create data center substation electrical designs and collaborate with other disciplines
- Define project scope and provide technical support during construction phases
- Review and approve equipment submittals
- Work with commissioning teams to test and validate electrical systems
