Amazon is looking for a talented Electro-Mechanical Engineer to design and launch robotic End Effectors as part of their advanced robotics systems team. Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing and integrating actuators into robotics systems
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Expertise in robotic actuators, including motors, mechanical transmissions, bearings, encoders, and lubrication
- Hands-on experience building prototypes and debugging subsystems
- Proficiency with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
- Experience designing and debugging tooled components such as sheet metal, cast, and injection molded parts
Responsibilities
- Author functional requirements, design verification plans, and test procedures
- Execute product designs that meet specified requirements
- Build and test electromechanical subsystem prototypes and integrated systems
- Support product releases to manufacturing and customer deployments
- Work efficiently to support rapid schedules
- Collaborate with Electrical and Controls engineers to execute product design from concept to production
- Document designs in accordance with ANSI Y-14.5
